Andy Whitcomb

Andy Whitcomb enters her 27th season as the head field hockey coach at Mount Holyoke College during the 2024-25 academic year. Whitcomb is also a senior lecturer in the College's Department of Physical Education. She was named Senior Woman Administrator in 2024.

Overall record of 273-205-1, including a mark of 109-96 in NEWMAC.

Three-time NEWMAC Champion (2015, 2001 and 2003), earning automatic qualification into the NCAA National Championship Tournament.

Earned at-large bids to national stage in both 2014 and 2013 after going a combined 35-7 in a two-year span.

NEWMAC Regular Season Champions in 2011 and 2001.

Coached Lauren Weiner to NEWMAC Field Hockey Athlete of the Year honors in 2003.

Won ECAC Championships in 2011 and 2002.

Has coached seven All-American and 32 All-Region student-athletes.

Two of her student-athletes have earned NEWMAC Rookie of the Year honors (Liz DiCesare in 2013 and Shara Robertson in 2008)

Over 100 student-athletes have claimed NFHCA All-Academic recognition.
